MY HEART WAS BROKEN: WALE VISITS BALTIMORE HIGH SCHOOL AFTER RIOTS

Washington, D.C., native Wale decided to take action in the wake of this week's unrest in Baltimore following Freddie Gray's death in police custody, not by hitting the streets, but by hitting the city's schools.

"My heart was broken, as he told Good Day DC regarding the city's riots. But at the same time, to be realistic, you can understand why. I'm not going to sit up here and act like it's something that it's not."
Along with the Rev. Jamal Bryant, he visited Baltimore's Frederick Douglass High School this morning for the student's first day back since the recent protests.
