RMD ACQUIRES GUNS TO PROTECT COMMUNITY

Current Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State and veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo popularly known as RMD, has decided to fight for his people in the oil-rich region of Niger Delta in Nigeria.

Alongside some militants in the region, RMD got some arms to protect Oloibiri community, which is reportedly the place where an oil well was first drilled in Nigeria.

In a film titled "Gun Powder" this scenario was played.

Curtis Graham, an American movie director, directed the movie, and Rogers Ofime, a Nigerian filmmaker produced, sees RMD play the role of a militant who stood against the continuous exploitation of his native Oloibiri community in Bayelsa State by oil companies.

Olu Jacobs, Taiwo Ajai Lycett and many other stars were in the movie flick. The film is expected to hit the cinemas soon.
